As well as collecting revenue through taxes and duties, we also administer a range of grants, exemptions and concessions that benefit Victorians.
We help people buy or build their own home through:
- various land transfer duty concessions and exemptions, including those for first home buyers and pensioners
- the First Home Owner Grant
- the Victorian Homebuyer Fund.
We also return millions of dollars in unclaimed money to its rightful owners every year.
